| End the voucher program. This program, in it's inception, was to allow parents to take their child out of failing schools and help pay for private schools. Now the program is being hijacked by affluent families to pay for private school tuition they have been paying for years. Teachers need a salary that allows them to pay their bills without taking on a part time job. We need an ambitious salary schedule not a token 2-3 % raise which doesn't even cover the Cost of Living increase. Protecting women's reproductive rights. |
